a nice festival in belgium, they've got like the coolest
eighties synth/rock songs

yeah thrill jockey looks all cool and stuff, which album do
you have? i've got surrender to the night, i think that's
the best and thats probably why i've lost it for the second
time, second i've got futureworld and that has the coolest
voocoder singing with future boy/future girl/ living in a
future world and stuff like future dad and future mom, that
is so much fun, also they've got this kraftwerk tribute on
it, on the third album i got, red line, the drummer takes an
even bigger part, here the melodies get a bit forgotten, but
it's real cool experimental and fun, it's right next to kid
a in my collection

i've got 'TA' and 'You Can Always Get What You Want.'

The artwork in TA is so wicked. With the guys all chillin
on that white trans am in the top hat and what not. But i
really appreciate the raw, low budget sound on YCAGWYW. and
the shouting and what not.

oh sorry it took so long to get back to you. i wanted to
put a lot of thought into the answer, as you can probably
tell.

I've got The Surveillance and Futureworld. I like Trans Am.
Their drummer is solid.

Pontiac 84 dream.

Rasec, I agree that the Camaro would be my muscle car of
choice too.

it's post rock off the Constellation label isn't it? I've
never heard them, but I'm a fan of label mates Godspeed You!
Black Emporer, Do Make Say Think, Fly Pan Am... yadda yadda.

"Surrender to the Night" is one of my top ten albums ever.
But I don't like any of their other records. I don't think
they really pulled off the whole synth pop thing very well.
You have to be spot on or it sounds as if you're joking.

The Surveillance is my fav one, so intense and so funny.
Other albums are good, for my this band has no weak moments.

when i saw them live one of them (i think the bass player
maybe) had some sort of attack so he only played like 2
songs, then they took him to hospital and the other two
continued..it wasn't all that exciting gig eventhough people
really like them. they have couple of nice songs, but thats
pretty much it imo.
