i hear alot of talk about commercial stuff being crap. which is easy to say. but are there any commercial sounding artists that still get a thumbs up from the aphex crowd. i mean... when you take into concideration that a true artists plays from his heart(which might accidently sound commercial) you cant blame them for their scene crimes.

morcheeba started out good. What the hell happened on their latest CD? Oh man, such shite! Same with Air actually! I cant stand their latest album! I saw them live though and they rocked. The short one wore a big dracula cape hehe.

it all depends on the meaning of "commercial". sure, there is music made by the industy without any artistic value. on the other hand, there is good music that has an enormous commercial success. so what? i mean, even the latest madonna stuff she made in cooperation with a french dj called mirways was cool. and it was successfull.
yes. i like some of the madonna-tracks on her last album. so what ? ;)
