hmm, i started this a few months ago, last night i changed
the way it is displayed. you can click on the images to see
big versions. i dont know if i like it, the page jumps
itself around. im trying to figure out a way to do it for
all the photos on my site too.
but anyways.
postal mail log
i have a stack of 20 packages waiting to be scanned because
ive been lazy.
at first i wasnt sure about wanting my address to be
revealed. i dont know though.

i know most of them arnt that exciting. but together they
are sort of.

afaik there was only ever one issue.
douchemagazine.com seems to be gone now but it said "douche
is dead " for a while. that was right after the first
issue.
it was the guy who used to have plasticheart.com which is
also now dead.
its a nice magazine with art/photography stuff in it.
i dont know why they didnt continue with it.
it was a nicely (expensivly) printed magazine and it was
cheap, i expect it just ended up costing a lot in time+money
for just the guy or him and few people who were doing it.
hopefully it will resurect itself oneday.

yes, i figured it was probably an art magazine, really...

"i dont know why they didnt continue with it." the title,
perhaps?

but hm. what do you think of the presentation method?
good: everythings always on one page, never leave the page,
you can always see everything at once. good with any
resolution.

bad: page jumps around a little. could be confusing.

heres how it is with photos

sorry those pictures arnt interesting.

this was my initial idea for redoing it. its more of a conventional mthod, right now
i think its broken in everything except firefox. its nice
but doesnt adapt well for diff resolutions.

id apprieciate any thoughts.
i know the way im doing it on the postal log is a bit
strange and unusual, but i dont think its bad.

what am I to do with all these photographs of your package?

if you're talking about confusing - when I go to your main
site, I almost get an epileptic fit.

if you stopped spinning your eyeballs around it might help a
little.

on the contrary, i do think the postal log is a very good
idea.

but honestly, i don't really like the interface too much.
it's a bit confusing. i like the frames-pussy version the
most. simple and obvious. that's just my opinion though.

seriously. I click on things and nothing happens. I hate
sites like that.

hmm... thanks to the feedback from r40f and other people
elsewhere i have taken a liking to the more normal method.
i have cleaned it up here
and it should be fairily compatable. except there is a bug
with it and safari.
i have only really tested it on winIE5.5/6 and firefox,
although i know it looks right on mostly everything somewhat
recent except for safari.
it only really looks proper at 1024x768 but should be usable
at any resolution.
please check it out if your interested and let me know.
