what's good emulators for this acid sound
i dont mean the running base thing of the audiorealism
bassline and the tweakbox but the non linear sound that the
ts404 in fruity makes

or if you want aphat bass ose two oscilators and osc one is
saw ,osc two is sine.
or...osc 1 and 2 a re both sine,which gives a liquid kind of
bass.

experiment with oscilators.

ok tb303
yea, osc's,
i liked the ts404 but people said it didnt sound good, like
too thin, though i dont get that, it's just sinusses,
the non fruity plugins dont work as well with the pianoroll

If you've got a basic vst with 1 or more osc's try setting
osc 1 to square (personal preference) & set the filter asdr
to 0% exept the decay which can be about 15-25%. Tweak the
frequency and resonance to make acid squiggles and the decay
to tighten or loosen the filter. For extra bass try adding
some sinewave on a second oscillator perhaps 1 octave down
and gently mix it with the other oscillator.

Atleast that's what I do :)

yes that's nice, but do think ts404 of fruity can sound not
good? or did i do something wrong, just using one osc, not
turning enough knobs

From what I've remember fondling with FL and TS404, the
sounds are always a bit tinny and sharp. Not very classic
Roland-sounding, but I still found use for it. In my humble
opinion, I think it's nicer to have some sound that is
reminiscent of the 303, but still has it's own character.

I'd say: just tweak until you're satisfied, and maybe add
some effects to cover up the 404 so people here won't be on
your ass for using it ;)
