well im dumping the stream. using so its not recompressed at all. its only 96k so it wont be too huge. that fb2k component also writes track titles+indexes to a cue sheet so we will have all that information. ill leave my machine on overnight if its still going. |

that web page is kind of wierd. the server doesnt really have any normal headers. i wonder if its a simply httpd built into the same server that is streaming. for example this is xltronic.coms server header: HTTP/1.1·200·OK Date:·Fri,·08·Apr·2005·04:34:35·GMT Server:·Apache/2.0.40·(Red·Hat·Linux) Last-Modified:·Wed,·01·Dec·2004·07:56:13·GMT ETag:·"1d69f2-38ac-3d4ac140" Accept-Ranges:·bytes Content-Length:·14508 Connection:·close Content-Type:·text/html;·charset=ISO-8859-1 this is autechre.ws HTTP/1.0·200·OK Content-Type:·text/html i think acording to the specs, those two things, the return result and the content type are the only things actually required, its just that normal servers usually have all that other junk. although i bet its just a simple server in the streaming thing. like they are streaming on port 80 so it would make sense |

um, i could in firefox. this is also interesting although doesnt mean anything looks like lifted from xiph.org thats the project that ogg, flac, theora, etc are all under. toobad theyre not streaming this in ogg atleast. |
