There are those of us capturing the stream direct in it's original format. No re-encoding. If you take a 96k stream and capture as 320k mp3 it'll be no better quality than the 96k. In fact it will be worse cos the compression to 320 will intruduce more artifacts. Then transcoding *again* down to 192 will do more harm again. Therefore the sensible people will download the 96k direct stream rip versions of the whole file (mine is 190MB so far). Your rips will not be required. |

thankyou for being so blunt xceque. my stream is a direct dump. unfortunatly i had a major interuption half way through or so. if yours is pristine then it can be the holy one. if you need one to fill in gaps i can get pieces/all of mine to you. or the other way around. |

It was supposed to be more explanatory than blunt. No offence to sadist was intended at all! I'd quite like to grab the earlier test rips you made later (I mentioned them earlier in this thread - don't you if you missed it) And so far my rip has been unbroken. |

I have been ripping directly from the stream, but I got what appeared to be a gap a while back. It was very short (about half a second maybe) and maybe it was part of the track. I'm not sure. It didn't seem like it was supposed to be there though. |
