i got a problem i dont get solved. the situation is: i have a beat on my physical drum-machine (boss dr202).
then i want to play a loop over the beat. the loop is on my computer (programm Peak LE 4 G4+).
now i have an index that tells me how many seconds 4 measures of any bpm-rate between 1 and 500 is.
i take a look at the index and cut the loop so that it should fit the bpm. for example a 4.36364 seconds long loop for 110 bpm.
but its just not precise enough, soon loop and beat dont fit anymore.
what do i do?

Are you just playing the loop or is it MIDI-triggered to the Boss? I'm not very good at MIDI, so I can't tell you how to do it, but I think that might be the case.

I really have no idea. I'm currently trying to set up my 707 through the midi port on my Evolution usb-keyboard, so I'm in the learning phase. my best bet is to have a sequencer where you can loop the audiofile and send MIDItriggers to the drummachine at the same time. I was looking through the prefs on my Peak program and it doesn't seem to be able to sync outboard gear.
