Wierd fear

Ok, so i have this crazy fear that when I am in a fragile
situation, such as in an airport or a museum or am holding a
knife or a gun or walking by a baby, I have this fear that I
will have a moment of thoughtlessness and do something
completely crazy. Like (respectively) scream "terrorists!",
or smash a work of art, or stab myself, or shoot someone, or
kick a baby.

I start to sweat alot when I am near stuff like this.
Anyone else have that?

I know the train of thought you're referring to, but I think
your real problem is that you cannot get rid of that train
of thought.

If I'm in a car with the window next to me open and I have
something in my hand I'm constantly having to tell myself
not to throw it out. I could be holding a phone, a laptop, a
watch, a baby, and I'll be having visions of me throwing
them out. I have to wind up the window. Then I'm ok.

It sounds, to me, like mild panic anxiety disorder, where
some of the symptoms can include the fear you'll go mad and
do something somehow against your will. Ohhh I've had that,
the panic, the shakes, can't breath, the mind reeling...
right pain in the arse.

Right by where I live is one of the busiest dual
carraigeways in the country and when I am driving down next
to the articulated lorries I constantly have the urge to
turn the car into them. Sometimes the urge is there with
normal cars as well, I just want to turn the wheel. Luckily
I have only done it once and they got the blame.

His job is a gun toting, knife wielding baby sitter who
organises trips to airports and museums. :(

groups about knives and guns in selected airports and
museums nation wide.

i have the same thing.

sometimes when i'm waiting to cross the street i start to
wonder if i'll jump out in front of a car. or if i'm
somewhere up high, i get worried i might jump.

or maybe i'll be drinking some coke at my computer and kind
of get nervous that i might dump it all over my computer and
tip the table over or something.

or in church or a library, somewhere you're supposed to be
quiet, i start thinking 'jee i hope i don't stand up and
yell "fuck you ALLLLLLLLLLL motherFUCKERRRS" really
loud'...

all of these things would be really interesting to do. the
only problem is the consequences.

It sounds like a panic attack or a mild one anyway to me. I
get them now and then but have learnt to prevent them more
often than not now. They tend to run in the family too so
you could talk to your parents (if poss) about it and they
will understand (at least the panic attack feeling anyway).

what works for me is relaxing - make sure you take time to
relax, whether it be tv, reading, listening to music
properly, or whatever works for you. ive started to try
meditating a bit and its pretty good. ive got this book
about it that tells you how beneficial it is for your body
and mind; i.e. its the reverse of being anxious. the
techniques are pretty hard- you really have to focus, but
this teaches you to focus in the future. it really frees
your brain up to be more creative and rational too.

i kind of have this fear too, every time im holding a pin or
needle i picture it going into someones eye, just looking at
a sharp needle makes me imagine in slow motion the act of
piercing a squishy eye :( whenever im holding a needle and
someone walks up to me i yell at them to go away in case i
shove it in their eye or something...

like opening the door and rolling out. i end up having to
lock the door.

i blame my imagination, which never stops.

Yeah all the time but mine goes super in depth. Very similar
to the gentleman that i followed up to in this post.

I'll take it a step further and think of people and how they
would react and create dialogue and how they would respond
to my actions and how i would have to respond to them.

Sometimes (for example) i'll picture this "hot shot tough
guy" wigger type. I picture saying things like "arent you
aware that the gangsta rap fad passed in late 1995?" and
continue to talk about how he is wasting his life. Things
like

"look in the mirror? Is this what you wanted? Is this the
top of the fucking mountain? Do you think just because you
color coordinate your baby blue FUBU gear that you have
style? Are you aware that white people that wear sweat pants
are scrubby? Are you aware that your consistant use of
ebonics makes you look like you didnt finish grade school?
You arent from the core and if you were you would be able to
afford that FUBU shit anyways because your ass would be
addicted to crack if your white ass was alive at all. Dont
you dare give me this shit how you had a rough life just
because you wanted to rebel against mommy and daddy to look
cool. ITS CALLED BEING A TEENAGER YOU FUCK!"

at that point the wigger man resorts to making an attack
like move at a loss of things to say. He would do the
standard push followed by the "wat bitch?!?" to which i
would retort by a knife to the soft area right below your
shoulder in the front. Or maybe a stun gun attack. Then i
would talk down to him while he was injured in hopes that he
may reevaluate his life and picture things that he holds
dear and change his ways.

stuff like that

i am the only person in my house that can deal with
spiders/insects. its pretty annoying when the whole family
screams out my name, and i come running towards them like
the house is on fire or something, and its just a moth
rolling around on the ceiling. and after ive caught it in a
glass i have to open the back door myself with my elbows
because they are too scared to open the door themselves, in
case they get too close to my trapped little friend.

scrrunched up Hungy Jacks paperr bag and i looking down into
the lowerr section and said 'Don't thrrow this at that man,
don't thrrow this at that man' at which point my hand just

i have some weird fear, less strong than when i was a child
but still somewhat resurfacing in a slighter way sometimes,
that people near me can read my mind.

for example when they're walking on the same ground
surface.

apart from that, the weird fear described in this topic
seems very comprehensible to me... because you can
get crazy, let your madness/wildness out, your civilized
manners can give in... it can actually seem weird that
you're not going crazy like you'd like to.

For me it's less of a fear but more of an urge to do
something you know is wrong but doing it will give you a
kick. Like Anus' story, throwing random objects at strangers
in supermarkets. Sounds like fun.

Uzim: I sometimes get the mind reading feeling when I have
dirty thoughts about females in my presence.
