Does anyone know of any way of encoding mp3s in 8bit? the lowest I could get from lame was 1kbit, and that's no good... I'm just wondering how regular music would sound in 8bit... |

Soundforge has a Bitrate converter...that should do the trick. |

because 8 bits sounds like it's really little, and it also makes me think of that old "conan the barbarian" game for pc where they had some 8bit voices and it sounded like shit.. distorted and.. I don't know.. it sounded 8bit as in 8bit music... like this one time I managed to play music through a pc-speaker.. sounded completely crap! |
