Hi from Sanguine

Man I've been away for a while... thought I'd post
something since I haven't forgotten about this place and
some people were wondering

I graduated with a BS in Computer Engineering... finally

I wrote a program that takes a whole bunch of MIDI drum
files and exports new drum files based on the tempo and
interactions between the drums in markov chain predictable
randomness. I'm wroking on a version 2.0 that will make it
create drum beats using a neural net and pseudo AI... it's
neat and LISP is annoying. The beats coming out of it are
ridiculously cool.

I'm composing mostly dancable stuff and have had many
options to play my pieces lately. Although I spent most of
my time on school lately I have offers to put things on
vinyl that I've turned down... hopefully I'll get an offer I
like within the next year and I can send you guys some free
copies just for postage or something, or post the wav. files
in soulseek

Due to above I haven't posted any new pieces on my page save
two very small samples... you can check them out at my home
page here

Anyone in the bay area should definitly come out to some of
these parties... we've been raging it up lately

Um... maybe I'll add more later... hi!

Markov chains eh? That's pretty cool. I used to play around
with a bunch of programs that generated text from input text
based on Markov chains. It'd make some of the craziest most
brilliant poetry ever - WS Burroughs type stuff.

Downloading your 2 new samples... ah, good stuff, but I bet
you have much crazier raw experimental shit. You would like
us to listen to it. You will post it, yes.
