Bluff limbo sucked a lot more than i thought it would, i
mean i was waiting to buy the album for years, and when i
finally did its was like 'what is this crap? this is 2 steps
back from tango'.

and what is up with 'sick porter'? the first sick porter i
mean. it sounds like chemical brothers.

I propose that henceforth we should not alloweth thoseth to
sitteth on the fenceth... say it, don't spray it!

offline Matvey from Kiev (Ukraine) on 2005-03-31 07:11 [#01548268]

why weather? polls should be somehow connected with
electronic music.

offline Opto on 2005-03-31 07:12 [#01548269]
Points: 1016 Status: Addict | Followup to Matvey: #01548268

right. electronic music stopped on rephlex/warp/similar in
these parts.

offline Exaph from United Kingdom on 2005-03-31 07:14 [#01548271]
Points: 3718 Status: Lurker

but if there were no weather then there would be no
eco-systems; no nature; no us; no electronic music!

yeah the only sound would be that of comets colliding with
planets and star dragons

I voted "dunno" because I didn't like any of them.

i love the latest results of all the latest polls...

7] - Well... mmm... maybe... dunno (13)

4] - Dunno (32)

3] - Dunno, Rephlex is unpredictable (39)

5] - Bah, these Analord tracks are so boring... Richard is
better making Drukqs style tracks (38)

7] - mmm... well... mumble... dunno (69)

apathy wons! hooray for apathy!!! ^^

it could also say something about how the polls themselves
are set up..

sure.

personally, i haven't heard much by LFO nor µ-ziq (and
didn't care much about what i've heard), haven't heard
Bradley Strider at all, and i don't care about Analord,
so...

I think a "I don't like this artist" option would've been
better than all those instances of "dunno"s.

muziq and lfo are worth checking: purpose of these polls,
and you get to know which album to start with

not really though - the album people like the most isn't
necessarily the best to start with.

Discogs gives clues.

half of the board's threads give clues and better ones at
that - people will actually give arguments why one record is
preferable over another.

the polls are just for fun, nothing more. I would be very
surprised if any of these polls has "inspired" anyone to try
to listen to someone's complete discography within 7 days.

And as polls are just for fun, it would be nice if they
actually were fun from time to time, and slightly more
inventive.

BobMcBob: ...you know, "music" ≠ "idm"... : P

nacmat: yes, that's probably a good indication if i want to
start.

(and no, i don't want idm to die either, i'm just not into
it anymore.)

so the indication for most artists would be "dunno"..?

Alas, Bob doesn't know or doesn't want to know that there is
an awful lot of great unelectronic music out there.

actually pretty sweet

"stop with polls, woofer in the pool" :)

i like my xltronic job, i like my polls, and i'm a proud
official poll maker, but like in any pubblic work is
impossible to satisfy 100% of the ppl.
my boss, phobiazero is pleased with my polls so i'm pleased
too.

anyway i will remember your critics and i will try to
improve quality of my job.

thanks for your attention.

dariusgriffin/deadeight- i do like a lot of electronic music
that isnt idm...in fact most of the music i like isnt idm.
And as for non-electronic music, well its everywhere, on tv,
on the radio, people i know keep playing me tracks trying to
get me into thier fav music...so its not like i dont know
what im missing...
