yes, richard devine's live sets imo are always better than
his full length albums

what id really like to find a recording of is his
performence with the keyboard player from dream theatre.
Apparantly the keyboard player improvised rythmically over
richard devine's crazy beats.

That sounds like it would suck very badly.

i thought it sounded interesting because very little idm
musicians try being creative and pull something like this
off.

but maybe this is why so many dont try pushing the envelope,
maybe they are all afraid their own creative ideas "would
suck very badly."

i dislike dream theater, and richard devine isnt overly
creative in my opinion.

he recently 'pushed the envelope' by smashing and setting
fire to a keyboard as a publicity stunt for the company
which made it. how nirvana

nirvana the place, not the band.

example: "Richard Devine delivers me to musical Nirvana"

Don't talk shit. Prog rock and Dicky Devine is great?
Everyone is 'pushing their own envelope' in their own way.
Repeating past failures as a creative idea is rubbish.

"i dislike dream theater, and richard devine isnt overly
creative in my opinion"

i and the friend who told me about the performence feel the
same way.
the only reason i want to hear it is because he said it was
better than anything he's ever heard of richard devine by
himself.

"he recently 'pushed the envelope' by smashing and setting
fire to a keyboard"

lol, i take back what i said, who does he think he is Trent
reznor?

ive never even heard his albums or songs, are they good?

"What is the best thing your 'friend' has ever heard"

my friend actually listens to very little music.
he really likes Harold Budd, tetsu inoue, and the soundtrack
to the movie "hero", so now that i take a step back and
think about it, the devine + keyboardist show might have
been complete and utter shit. (not that the music he
listens to is bad, he just has a very limited scope)

I stabbed myself in the arm two days ago! By accident, I was
cooking and Pressed a big knife into me wrist. That picture
makes me feel a bit sick!

I've got a bandage on my arm now. I was peeling some
carrots with my left hand for some silly reason. I was in
A&E for two hours, soo depressing.. people dying and ill
kids. The cut is about 4cms away from where people slit
their wrists. It didn't hurt but i moved the skin and it
opened up and there was fatty deposits or 'giblets' there.
It went in a few inches, nearly the other side.

At least you didn't accidentally slit the wrist open. That
would have spelt 'suck'
