I have a HUGE problem. I'm got 2 1/2 years worth of music
I've recorded in wav format and when I put in onto a CD it
sounds TOTALLY different and terrible. Ver thin, distorted
and has an "electronic sizzle" to it. Does anyone know what
I need to do in order to fix this problem?? I'm at my wits
end. Please help!!

What do you mean by "proggy"? My burner is ok, I've been
burning Cds no problem. The original marterial is on audio
cassette tapes which I then put into Wav format at 96000 Hz
when the default on the program is 44100 Hz. Could this have
made a difference? What do you mean by "kbps"? Thanks for
your help!

Two things, make sure the music is in sterio, and make sure
that the wavforms you are using aren't in 32 or 24 bit.

You want to burn sterio, 16 bit, 44.1 khz. Otherwise they
will sound wierd...
