from the pics, choice two by far. i've been to frankfurt
and it's a nice city, but it wasn't very exciting. the
other one looks like it has more character.

am i looking at the same pics as everyone else? i picked
the one with the attractive older architecture and beautiful
mountain view. and that's the scary one? ok... :)

what looks scary about it?
on this picture the city looks a bit "surreal" i'd say. but
i like that. i also like the mountains.

Munich. Probably a better music scene?

I'd pick 1 just because I like tall contemporary buildings,
but it could be a total piece of shit. 2 looks more homely
and older, which isn't bad either.

Its all personal taste. Haven't you been to either?

brokenphones: munich is twice as big as frankfurt. so there
are indeed more cultural offerings. there are many
elektronika and rock bands in munich, lali puna are from
munich for example. frankfurt is more famous
for jazz and hiphop, there are lots of black immigrants,
some embarassing german "gangster rappers" are from
frankfurt.

weatheredstoner: i've only been to munich (2) so far, but
it's been a while. i also like that contemporary bulidings,
munich on the other hand has really a kind of villiage
character, even though it's indeed a large city. i like
things about both cities.

Hmmm, i would go for munich it looks lovely. It is a shame i
never got a chance to go there last year. Mind you i am not
sure how close i was to it.

The only big cities i have been to are Bonn and Colonge
(Sp.) I am not sire where Koblenz stands as being a town or
a city. But for most of the time i was in the countryside
anyway. : )

Munich looks like something i wish i had seen more of so i
would move there if i was you.
