thanks matvey for pointing this one out and getting me into kotra in the first place.
this is a great ep which you can download here: [download]
the poorly-thought-out and haphazard review: i've only heard tracks from the bridge (besides this) and it is quite different, but still sounds like kotra... it isn't as dense-sounding - there are more dynamics and layers of different sounds. "pluck" has all these different subtle sounds happening and tiny glitches that pop out of nowhere. it's an evolving, warm-sounding piece. "twitch" is the most noisy track on the album - nice distorted sounds and feedback. "spurt" is pretty frightening and taut, horror-ambient. "tug" is built around a really rich, cinematic-synth riff and all these quieter fast noise bits. tug really reminds me of a david lynch soundtrack.
