MM - He intriuges me as he's obviously a pretty intelligent
guy working in a form I thought was done to death
(Goth..)..but thats the UK, seems like it's had a second
coming over the states...

And I like the Soft Cell cover (altho, i think it was a
cover of an earlier Northern Soul track by some girl singer
(anyone know?? I could do a google but I can't be arsed)..
which is pretty much forgotten nowadays...except by asses
like me..)...

And the video...love it, esp the GOTH CAR...

Rave?...I was watching a TV show goin on about the recent
upserge in old-school rave nights in the UK/London...so like
everything else, it gets recycled etc...comes around
again...

Hopefully without the Kiddies Tunes that spoilt things
somewhat...(ever wondered why RDJ never EVER mentions
PacMan...coz he's fucking ashamed...and you Autechre with
your stupid Cavity Job record...bet you don't play that out
much now...)...

Sorry, I better go have a fag...

i respect mr mansun for tapping into the frustrated teenager
market but i reckon he crucified that tainted love tune at
least mark almond had all that 80s electro going on!
yes us brits did kind of start the old rave thingy something
that seemed cheesey and embaressing around 95 seems kind of
sweet and nostalgic now im even listening to a TOPBUZZ mp3
at the moment! (nice goth chicks in that video though)

LOL

Dont even start on me with the 80's Im only 24 but for some
stupid reason have passion for 80's music like Duran
Duran....even seen them in concert and to the comment below
that yes must agree the Almond version was much better

I've gone and googled...

Tainted Love..

"The song was written way back in the '60s by Ed Cobb, who
was a member of the clean-cut group The Four Preps, and was
first recorded by Gloria Jones."...

One day I'll unveil my secret past as a Smiths fan....

Did anyone see The Wedding Singer last night on BBC?...that
bought back a lot of 80s memories (and the scene with the
guy doing the Boy George impression at a wedding reception
never fails to crack me up...)...

Arggg...why am I torturing myself...I hate nostalgia,
reminds me I'm getting (am) old...used to work with this
prick who always used to say "Ooohh...Nostalgia not what it
used to be...".... funny first time around, after 40,000
times, it somewhat loses it's appeal...

and yep, twere a lovely fag...(and I managed to disturb 2
drama lecturers doing bleedin' body popping....PLANEEEEEEET
ROCK!!!
(which BTW, sounds twice as good at double speed...))...

it's gonna be a odd day....

Manson.... I dont like about 95% of his music, but I do
respect a lot of what he has done, which is the stuff that
doesnt have to do with all that crappy goth scene
stuff...... like his more meaningful messages and stuff like
that. I guess the way he is NOW..... the last year or two
hes really matured or so its seemed.

Anyone heard the version by "Impedance"? A sorta slow dance
version. One of my favourites.I believe "Audiogalaxy" have
it.As for MM,he's just a gorier version of Alice Cooper.

Yeah and before him was the Beatles.. parents hated their
kids listening to them because they were rock, played black
people type songs, didnt wear ties and had too long of hair.

I don't really care much about the 3... Mason is too
fabricated and stupid, Moloko is just light pop stuff and
there's enough rave allready IMHO

Raunchy....lol

Does not supprise me really

I used to really hate him when he first came out I was shit
scared of him but now I think he's cool

Can anyone tell me if Manson is really the bloke from The
Wonder Years (The main kids best friend) or is it just a
rumour going round Wales

I hate manson, never liked his shitty music, anyhow, tainted
love has been covered by so many bands, the best was by Coil
obviously, other than that manson pissed me off recently by
stealing the soundtrack for resident evil away from clint
mansell, who would have done such a wicked job >:(
