"While keeping the plot firmly under wraps, Lucas said:
"Obviously, fans would love to see a movie about Darth Vader
running around killing people."

well, obviously.

Any chance the people of the earth will rise up and destroy
this movie before it destroys any shred of credibility Lucas
has left?

if any deathstarrification of this film will occur, it will
be solely for the good of the human race and not to protect
Lucas' credibility, something which has become mythical of
itself.

"It's not like the old 'Star Wars,' " Lucas told theater
owners at the ShoWest convention. "This one's a little bit
more emotional. We like to describe it as 'Titanic' in
space. It's a tearjerker."

episode III has darth vader, lightsabers and bitchin' hot
natalie portman. worth seeing the movie just for that. but
in addition there's gonna be spacebattles, slaughtering of
jedi's, the rising of the evil emperor, new
multilightsaberfighting robot/alien.

oh and a crazy 12min duel between anakin and obi-wan on a
volcano planet. THE DUEL

so...lots of lightsaber fighting and dark force powers,
lightenings coming out of people's hands, hot crying
pregnant women popping up everywhere.

worth to see? hELL YEAH

really though, the only star wars episodes that are worth a
damn are ep 4 and ep 5. when ep 3 comes out and ends up
sucking, george's record will only be 33% success with this
series!

come on, couldn't have imagined it being that aweful?
did you see episodes 1 and 2? episode 3 was probably my
favourite of the prequals.
that said, it was still pretty terrible. it WAS nice to see
the story piece together and all that, but lucas totally
forgot how to make a good film.

there's always hope in the new indiana jones though, right?

(come on.. speilberg!)

They should have used only the gear they had in the 80's to
make the new star wars films. Who cares if its more
difficult. That includes analog vocoders for the voices of
the droids.
