ok.. I have a real question here... This thread made me go back an check those samples from autechre at bleep... everyone has been going on and on about this being some kind of transcendental music and that you have to understand it and shit like that... like it's some mass of information turned into music... I couldn't remember what they sounded like, but because everyone talks about them like they are.. eh.. geniouses with amazingly huge penises, so I had this idea about them making beatless music without melodies and shit... I checked the samples (some from confield and some from draft) and I remembered what it was I thought the first time.. "what the fuck?! this is both on-beat and it has melodies.. it's just kind of regular..." so, my question is: R U SERIOS?! |
