Listening analord I realized I've never heard any Acid tracks from aphex apart from the analord ones. And it reminded me of how the line come on you cunts lets get some aphex acid. was there ever any aphex acid before analord cus I haven't heard any. Saw ain't acid, niether is analogue bublebaths, or ICBYD, or RDJ album. So where's the aphex acid? (Probably under polygon window or gak, stuff i haven't heard) |

the UI series, some of the caustic window/joyrex stuff.there are a couple of tracks on SOSW that could be classed as 'acid' but they're prolly the weaker tracks. |

The come to daddy album has loads of Acid... -funny little man. -To Cure a weakling child, contour Regard. -Come to daddy, Mummy mix. And even the other tracks have some acid sounds here and there. Check it out once again when you can. :) |

He doesnt usually do straight up acid music, its usually blended in with other elements, only occassionally he sticks to the rules more and it still sounds good. |

"Cornish Acid"... clue is in the title, so there is at least some acid on RDJ album... he's used 303's in plenty of his tracks.... he doesn't really make acid house, just uses 303s in a unique way..... that bit after the sample "come on you cunts lets 'ave some aphex acid" is totally fucking insane anyway...... don't know where he gets his sounds..... |

You're fun to annoy.... excellent... it is called aphex acid because it isn't straight acid (as in acid house which is one of rdj's big influences), it's 303s, simple as that. I grew up listening to acid house in '88 '89 and i know what acid sounds like, aphex has his own twist on it and does use acid elements in quite a few tracks. |
