it's poop

it's piss

it's hemorrhoids

but who knows. if you like those things mentioned above, you
might just like the new daft punk.

but then you're a poophead. but i guess poopheads have a
right to live even though they're not socially accepted. but
mind this, people will throw sticky things at you. i'm
warning you.

I liked daft for a small time before i really got into
aphex. Although i bought both CD's at the same time. And
also the future sound of london. Crazy!

Obviously all of these are sold. Except the Richard D james
that is all scratched up and i handed down to my brother.

I never really got into the new one, but I haven't given it
a good spin. I plan to burn it and go for a walk sometime
soon.

I am a big fan of daft punk. Everything (aside from the daft
club faux-pas) has been great so far.

So easy to get into. It led me to seek more info and thus i
found this site

I only found out about daft punk (and afx, ae, and
boc)because they were listed as a related artist to
radiohead. I have no idea why.

I liked the first cd over the second. But the only songs I
still like are aerodynamic and nightvision. If that second
album had no lyrics, it would be so much better.

You obviously don't understand much about the subject of
quality.

Perhaps you should look into it, and realize that the lyrics
on that album own everything, including you.

the emotion song is decent the rest is bleh. the whole
vocoders on all tracks gimmick doesnt work for me either.

It's no Discovery. I was hoping they would try to match it,
but that is a pretty hard one to top.

It's a dissapointing album but some tracks are good. 'human
after all', 'make love' and 'emotion' are all good.

it's better than discovery, worse than homework but
listenable stuff. I liked it in general.

i liked homework ok but discovery was mostly crap, too many
songs with lyrics, though aerodynamic is the best theyve
ever done. i havent heard the new album, but i just heard
that 'prime of life' song over the speakers in HMV like ten
minutes ago, and it was good...but i hope the whole album
isnt like that.

It is incredibly disappointing, especially since the
previous albums were so superb. Its not like any of the
tracks are particularly bad... but its just SO repetitive.
Gone are the superb breakdowns from Discovery, replaced by
endless, predictable vocoder drones.

I thought the initial web-rip was actually some unfinished
tracks released by Bengalter+co intentionally to throw us
off-course, but now we know its not true. Shame.

it's not that what's there is bad (in fact, the sounds
themselves are pretty fab)... it's just that you know bloody
well they could have done more with it... a lot of press has
talked about this as maybe a piss-take, and after having
heard the whole thing all the way through today, i'm
inclined to agree...

i suppose a few tracks of theirs were quite cooL...
There are maybe 2 that i think are ok... But otherwize.
Not so appealing to my ears...

But i can't deny their success... They sure made it up
there.

Daft Punk are Daft Punk. You are not going to be surprised.
Maybe you would spread some granular shit over the top or
DSP it to death but they make direct tunes. I respect there
approach anyway.
