A remix of Nas' Blaze A 50, I still have some things I
want to change but I pretty happy with the way it is coming
together. Comments would be appreciated as this is
obviously not my usual style of musics.

Cheers.

Blaze A 50

k, 1 problem with this track. the melody just isn't sounding
too good. I don't know the original so if this is the
original melody then please forgive me. Generally just don't
like the melody but gets better about half way through with
the other sounds.

I can see you're doing new stuff so I don't want to judge
anything too quickly. Production is good but the melody is
the thing which stops me from liking this. sorry !

I think the rhythm is fresh! I can't hear it properly here
but the pattern is dope.

well, first of all nas rocks and his lyrics rock, but his
beats aren't always that good.. but that doesn't matter with
nas because of the lyrics.

now, this remix.. it's a good remix, but you need to "fill
the air" more as in the original. You should also lower the
volume on those tambourines... otherwise, this was pretty
good, Mr. Lee!

Thanks fellas. I know it needs more work but I am sick of
hearing it so I will probably leave it a week or so and then
go back to it. I also started working on another track
which is called cheeseface. Again it is different from my
usual stuff. It is just the starting elements of cheeseface
though and again I won't be working on it for at least
another week :P

cheeseface is quite strange - the first half quite lame and
not very promising, and then the second half - which is
quite good and might turn into something interesting

Not heard the original (although I do like what I've heard
of Nas), but I like this. Good drums, particularly the
stuttering rush type thing it does in places. Nice work.

haven't heard the original, don't normally like hip-hop, but
certainly like elements of this, so you must be onto
something good.
