Never heard them, heard of them.
Is there any particular album of theirs that I should grab?
Better yet, are they any good?
I just need something new for my ears, and this name sprang
to mind.

Yeah they are pretty good . Nothing spectacular or
mindblowing but good fun IDM . Glitchy and funky with some
Lo Fi and weird samples throwed in.

Start with the old stuff and work your way up . There latest
stuff is not as easy to the ears as the older. Lots of
squeeky high pitch sounds.

team doyobi absolutely rules, and are thousand times better
than artists trying to do the whole "8 bit" sound. not to
mention most idm artists in general. their use of fucked up
melodies and general uneasiness within the funk is very
unique. not a whole lot sound like them. maybe V.L.A.D., but
barely.

better yet, all their music is made on old-as-hell amiga
computers and just as old tracker modules. now that i find
impressive.

it took forever to like team doyobi , i bought choose.... on
a whim and decided to give it a chance, i was only
peculiarly interested in the music when i first heard it,
but blah blah blah after a couple of weeks it started to
coalesce. the only fault i find with the team is that some
of it lacks emotion, but i find that i am still into the
music, its much more about the music than about the emotion
imo (in their stuff)

lo fi sounds though, too bitty. for sale. with unstuck
sticker!

where's my other post gone?

strange.. anyway, I found the 12 'pushchairs for grown ups'.
The arrangements are quite good in bits, but the 8 bit
sounds are rubbish, and I find it irritatingly bitty. Not
into it basically. I'll sell it.
I find it weird to be honest, the desire to make music with
an Amiga, if that is what it is. Sounds like it.
Maybe the LP is better..

i was listening to choose.. this morning on the way to work,
i thoroughly enjoy it. it was a grower for sure, whereas
crypto i liked right off of the bat, and their eps are good
too

never heard df0:bad though i might have to download it.

They definitely have a different skew on things that I
didn't recognize after first listening. I like them now
quite a lot.
