Hooray!
DJ Shadow, vs...
KEANE!
I really wish I was joking but apparently not:
"Sample-master DJ Shadow takes Keane's "We Might As Well Be Strangers" out for a spin on an iTunes-exclusive remix. The original track, from Keane's 2002 album Hopes and Fears, gets a trip-hop makeover with Shadow's click-percussion, ambient synth effects and runaway dance beat."
Is it me or has Shadow been on a dangerously slippery slope since 1996...?

I saw vinyl of this in Rough Trade when I bought Analord 1+2, so much for the 'exclusive'. £4.99. I never listened to it but I did contemplate buying it to resell. Dj Shadow's always been overrated, it's occured to me. Amybe I'm being to hasty with that statement.. nah, not really, some of his stuff is ok, but i think a good deal of his opoularity is down to his crate digging rep and his Superhero-esque name..

What possessed him? I mean, Keane for Christ's sake. That's throwing away your rep before anyone's even heard it.
