What is it with Fischerspooner? I heard them ages ago before
all the hype and just thought it was a load of boring
unimaginitive electro that wasn't nearly as good as the
stuff it was trying to rip off.
Then I heard that they'd been signed for $2 million and
superlative reviews followed, what is it with some people?

ever hear the one about the emperor who got a new outfit?

They are not awesome , just .....pleasant to listen to haha!

They used to sound like a better and less gay Pet Shop
Boys.
Now they sound like a calmer and more electronic The
Wannadies.

The new album stands out in the electropop scene cause its
so well produced IMO. Not much Lo Fi and Irony .

Well I've not heard the new one but I always thought they
sounded like Human League wannabees without the great
songs.
I'm sure I'll get to hear the new one at some stage and I'll
keep an open mind but the Wannadies....?

Still Radioheads first album was crap, so was Coldplay's, so
was Air's, so was Smashing Pumpkins, so was Pink Floyd's,
you get the idea, great things can still happen given time.

ehm..yeah the Wannadies reference was not exactly spot on
haha!
But the voices of Wannadies singer Pär Wiksten and the
Fisher singer (don't know the name?) are very similar IMO.
