HI-

Does anyone know of any links to downloads where I can grab
size specification templates for CD packaging? I need to
know the dimensions for a jewel case that would include the
cover image, its inside 2 page booklet spread with the back
page opposing the disc, a template for the disc itself, and
the backcover (for tracklisting) that would include the
dimensions for the spine.

Thanks in advance,

/ g

excuse me? How is this being lazy?
There's obviously a standard, I'd like to know what it is.
If you don't know, don't comment.

You could get a rular and take the measurements from a CD
you own. Alternatively you could make your fat lazy fingers
type "cd case dimensions" into google and the first result
is what you are after.

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.
Give a man a cow and he'll eat for a week.

...no wait, wait..

Teach a fish to eat, and it'll eat for a day... no, that's
not it either...

hmm... nevermind.

I'm sorry ecanaddaehkcid-

I thought this was a message board that had to do with music
related topics that was frequented by individuals who may
have had experience releasing items publicly (or
professionally), and weren't pricks. No shit I could use a
ruler. If I though that would work, I would have tried to
do that first, genius. But since we are talking sending off
a print to a specific printer who might just have
professional standards where 1/8 of an inch would make a
noticeable difference, I would like to know if there are
industry standard templates. That's a valid question and
you are a valid asshole.

Thanks for the link epohs

were obviously too dumb to realise.

Hoisted by your own petard there, matey... Was there a
company in America long ago who sponsored the letter, Z, and
got a percentage everytime it was used, and then took all
these words which end in -ise and somehow got everyone there
to spell them -ize too boost their profits? It would make
perfect sense.

straight American teeth, and requests you spin.

American teeth are generally pearly-white and straight
because an orthodontist made them so - it is better to be
superior naturally rather than at the hands of a
professional... Oddly enough, you failed to mention that for
many many Americans, that middle finger would be pudgy and
fat and attached to a grossly overweight and smelly
yank-chav.

Lucky you for being from a well-off family, Kale... and, of
course, many many is not all, but then we were trading
stereotypes and the Americans seem to think one of their
crowning acheivements is their dentristy.

Whereas, everyone else's crowning achievement is that they
weren't born in america.

were just middle class. Very good insurance coverage due to
a good company that my father worked for when i was far
younger.

Trading stereotypes is fun! Made for a laugh! :)

It is the duty of the American Middle Class to push for a
better social benefits system, including a National Health
Service - how a country can have no real National Health
Service and think itself civilised is incredible -- Cuba has
a better Health AND Education system!

Our education is quite poor. I can personally speak of that
but then again that is quite obvious

What bothers me is the influence on British society... we
have worked hard to educate ourselves and in the recent past
we have been producing a whole lot of Consumerettes who know
nothing and can barely spell the word 'text' and who talk of
nothing but consumer-oriented things... is this really the
way of the world.
