Talk History, Back in the 40's, before computers were accessibly smaller than a warehouse, certainly before sequencers were dreamt, Conlon Nancarrow began punching his own playerpiano rolls. Then he modified his pianos' mechanics, both for timbre control and so that they could handle his music. Has anyone heard this ingenious stuff?
