I've re-discovered my love for retro-feel MOD/XM/S3M/IT
files either seperately composed or from various demos from
the early 90's; this stuff is fantastic.

Listening to MOD's from the artist "Purple Motion" now:
LAZY_TITLE

Anybody else like this stuff? Any suggestions/favourites
for simular artists/music, either music files or demos from
scene.org or such?

i like tracker music, and tracking music, but not when it
sounds to obvious that it is made with a tracker.

there are a few tracker tracks at my site still, I think...

everything from waves and down is older stuff from MadTracker... same goes
for "how does it feel to have a hole in your shoe," "rise
and fall of the inca," "phonebooth," "krampe is coming,"
"goméz ffumbs," "counting drops" and "another song."

I also have lots of old tracked songs from other people on
my comp. I could share on slsk if you'd like...

get on soulseek; username xf66. i'm lazy, easier to right
click a folder on your share and download all :P

and oyvinto: see, i'm the opposite. i love tracker music
that sounds like it's been done with a tracker. i love
dodgy 70/80 synths. i love 8-bit/c64/amiga/early demo crap.
too many video games and hearing jean michel jarre as a
kid, maybe.

ceri: had a look, not a huge fan of the sample on there.
album is better, maybe?

Impulse Tracker was my drug of choice in the late 90's/early
00's

i've did hundreds of tracks (most unfinished hehe). have 'em
all on my hard drive. i might post one here.

I never got into trackers early. When I started out i played
around on some hardware and then software consumed me. I
actually tried a tracker out a year ago or a half year ago.

After all i was doing it seemed rather primitive and it kind
of turned me off to it. I used it to view those Bogdan files
that were floating around.

I do think that they are still pretty cool nonetheless but
its just something that isnt for me.

I wonder how many of these artists made big in music.

I have dozens of disks of OctaMED and SoundTracker mods for
the Amiga. I dig them out every few years for a nostalgic
chuckle.
