you should get an order conf email, and another when it
ships. However, if they are out of stock on ONE release in
your order, the ENTIRE thing will be held until they have it
or you cancel it. And they won't tell you they're holding
it.

Usually get my stuff in about 1 1/2 weeks provided it's all
in stock...

when you place an order online there's a box you can check
to indicate that you want them to ship what they have in
stock and not wait for restocks. if you don't check this
box, indicating that you want to wait for restocks, your
order could be in limbo forever, and they will not give any
estimate for if/when anything might be in stock again,
they'll just hold your whole order without telling you. if
you check the box, not infrequently half of an order will be
"sorry, not in stock", very frustrating. indeed, they might
not respond to your email inquiry at all. my last order
took over six weeks from placing the order to receiving
it...

while i'm on a roll, they also list items in their catalog
which they don't have and apparently can't get that i have
ordered again and again over the course of many months (in
the assumption that if it's still listed months later, they
must have gotten restocks, since they claim to frequently
update their site). then again i haven't been able to get
these items anywhere else...

i have ordered from them many times and the quality of
service has diminished significantly. but they carry a
selection of music that's hard to match elsewhere in the
united states...

where else can you order a pharoah sanders live in japan,
analord 1-4, and the new harold budd all in one place? then
again, the pharoah sanders and harold budd were "out of
stock."

sorry to repeat some comments of others, but i wanted to
corroborate...

I think they're good (aside from the things they list that
they haven't had in stock for months nor will they ever and
they never seem to take down from their site)

i only had one case where they went completely screwy but
i'm not sure who's fault that was (theirs, visa's, or my
banks)

the check card authorization on my account was bigger than
the amount of the stuff i ordered and then rejected (even
though the money was still there) they emailed me saying my
card was bad. i emailed them back and things and after the
CCA dropped off i asked them to try it again and it worked.

ALSO today at work (also the bank) i checked my account to
see how much money i had in it (the one soley for online
orders and such) and i had some odd $1 check card
authorization for some place i'd never been nor even heard
off. in most $1 cases it's just to verify the card is real
and the bigger sum comes out. i closed the card out so this
couldn't happen. so, uhm yes be careful.

*please note, the story known as 'ALSO' really has nothing
to do with forcedexposure, i just thought i'd add that in.

if you didn't get an autoreply the same day you placed the
order, i'd email them to see what's up...
