am i the only guy that likes these guys? i mean they are
extremely odd and unprogressive music. which sometimes is a
plus but they strike me as a group few people get into.
i like them though.

you're fans of this group...

same thing with brothomstates & ovuca too...

mmmm...Pansonic...love it loads...not everyones cup of char
but if you like SAWII then perhaps you'd like
Pansonic...kinda like AE but without any beats (mostly)...

Its Real Pure Minimal Techno... ( & you can't get more
minimal that Pan(a)sonic)..

I keep meaning to actually buy some of their
stuff...everything I've got is MP3...

I love Pan-sonic, i love the finnish electronica scene!
But something is so damn funny, finland has no pop-scene to
talk about, so the electronica stuff is like their biggest
music export (except for some tango stuff maybe :)

I live in sweden and have lots of friends in finland, really
shy but cool people. In Sweden we use to say that finnish
people are even embarrassed to speak their own language with
people from other countries :)

I have Pan Sonic's A and one older single or EP where
they're still called Panasonic (blue cover).

PS. I'm a Finn. Niin että sillä tavalla...

I've seen this stuff in the shops and wondered what it is
like...

Someone said it was SAW2 style, someone else minimal
techno...

Whats the definitive description?

Odd. A machine blipping by itself in a corner type stuff.
There's one track on "A", with a nice 808 going, which I
really like. I also like the fact that I know what the
titles mean :)

I kinda think SAWII is sorta minimal techno...

but not as minimal as Panasonic...i liked the "A machine
blipping by itself in a corner type" description...

See if you can pick up some of the tracks from A on MP3 and
give em a try...you'll ever love or hate 'em...

But they are def worth the effort...

I don't think you can hate Pan Sonic. There's not much there
to hate :)

I have 'Scorpius' on mp3, good stuff by OP:L Bastards.

I think pan sonic is boring but they are very different and
perhaps in the future they will evolve to something new and
fantastic.

paco..lol ;)..

Live they are very different...

Mainly due to Volume...they play fucking loud and it gets
real physical; I don't think that really comes across on
CD...

wow i didnt know they were from finland. my roomate is
finnish and he loves to find groups from there.

description... "odd machine in the corner alone" was
perfect. sometimes its just one oscillating noise going
really low and really high. hardly musical but somehow
still entertaining. i have some live clips of them on mp3
and you can hear people yelling with excitement as they
making noise. its kinda funny. but as i listened to their
live stuff i was certain there was visuals going on and they
were getting something accross to the crowd that i wasnt
getting. i feel ripped off :)
