Nyromantikken. I think it got uploaded all right...

It may seem off-beat to begin with, but that's just 'cause
the stuff's all backwards and stuff and shit and stuff...
anyway... feedback?

i like it! i think it's a solid track. the only thing i
can say is the drum sounds are a bit trebly for my taste. a
little too artificial? i wish you could sample a real
drumset and replace the sounds with the subsequent samples.
nice track though. i like the bass sound.

yeah, I know about the drums, but it's just 'cause I have
realised I won't really be able to make "organic" drums
without actually having a drumset to play, or a
velocity-sensitive drum machine/sampler, so I've decided I
won't hide the fact that my drums are synthetic. Too trebly?
hmm.. I will look into it at once!

the bass sound is an upright bass I've sampled that I just
filter to give whichever bass sound I need...

thanks for listening!

no, the drumkits are just some samples from the interwebs
that I downloaded a long time ago.

thanks for checking!

i think this is a really good track, but i agree about the
drums being a bit thin. maybe some really crunchy drums
would suit the stacatto rhythm of the melody, but what do i
know? its your track :)

thanks!

hmm.. crunchy... do you mean, like adding distortion and
stuff? 'cause I felt the track was in need of something kind
of jazz-ish...

no, I suck at mixing, so it may actually be clipping on the
track.

where is it?

Here's an idea: how about ditching the beat altogether and
do some crackly/rattley sounds instead? I really like the
melody/bass, but the drumsounds and beat seems unnecessary.

But then again, maybe it's just the shitty drumsamples. I
bid thee good luck with the further development with this
song.

agreed.

i like the reversed sample thing. and the bass very much.

just at the start mainly 1/4. then it's a little too loud
when it kicks off at 1/3 and fizzes quite a bit

hmm.. maybe I should exchange the drums then... microbeat
then probably, since I wouldn't know how to crackle and
rattle. thanks for checking everyone!

razor: thanks.

hahaha!

well, I have no microphone...

I could probably just click the needle on the turntable
randomly around to create some nice sounds, though... and
maybe I could use this amazing pedal again...? hmm...
