I downloaded the song "Temple of Love" by Sister of Mercy
(1993)... it's lovely song. I think I'll get all their old
albums.

Someone know this song and this "gothic/dark" band?

Yeah they were the best thing around at the time, really
simple drum machine and gothic guitar. There's an album with
all their old EPs on it that's good.

If you want gothic/dark and punk with an old drum machine
try downloading a couple by a band called BIG BLACK,
fantastic...

i'd recommend "a slight case of overbombing" which is the
best of cd
other top cd's are "floodlands" and "vision thing"
and for bootlegs "temple of rarities" vol 1 and 2 are good

I was once a hardcore "Sisters" fan, before they locked me
up. I'd highly recommend the cd's "First and last and
Always",and "Some Girls Wander by Mistake"(sort of
singles,b-sides etc). Then Jim Steinman (writes most of
"Meatloafs" stuff),got involved, and the whole thing went
downhill. The 12" of "This Corrosion" is also pretty
good.Cheers. }:>

I like "Temple of Love" new version with vocalist Ofra
Haza.
It's a pity that they closed their band.

germany last summer. the singer lives in hamburg, germany. i
used to love them, when i was 16 years old. i still like the
"first and last and always"-album...

Really? So they're stille alive... this is a good news, I
don't understand why they stopped to release new stuff.
