Heh, too lazy to search out one of the MANY drukqs topics,
so I'm starting a new one dammit!!!!!!!

you know, I'm listening to it now... I really like it... but
I don't find the track order annoying... I mean, really,
there are only a few instances where there are soft tracks
squashed in between loud and fast songs... like Cock/ver 10,
Avril 14th, and Mt Saint Michel is the only one I can think
of... and even there, there's so much space in between songs
that your ears havea chance to recover... :)

and there's no question, disc two is the best of the two...

and a question, what's up with some of the piano pieces? I
mean, you listen to them and you can hear sounds in the
background almost like he's pressing all these pedals...
like did he actually play those songs, cause to record those
sounds in the background is pretty amazing... it actually
sounds authentic...

hmmm, I feel so behind... it's like I'm just getting into
Drukqs... :)

I know... Avril14th has some OBVIOUS noise... something
stuck in the strings in the piano? Deliberate, of course,
and pretty interesting...

Yeah, you're pretty slow. ;-) And I think Disc One is
slightly better... Cockver10 and Vordhosbn... gasp!

yeah disc one is pretty sweet, but Gwarek2, and Orban eq trx
4 kind ruin it for me... whereas disc two I can listen all
the way through without skipping a song... also, the ending
of Omgyjya-Switch is nails on a schalk-board annoying...
sends shivers right up my spine...

Om Switch is incredible! I hated it so much... that, and
Peek 8245whatever (not Drukqs, I know), but now they may be
my two favorite RDJ tracks. They just SQUEAL at me!

oh yeah, I love the majority of the track... it's just the
ending that I find annoying...

Oh, I thought you were praising the Switch ending... forgot
which disc it was on (that's MP3s for you).

I like it, and that whip... ker-SPSHSHS!

maybe the piano pieces were played on prepared pianos, like
the compositions of avantgarde writer john cage? i really
love the last track on disc one - really emotive.

i don't understand how anyone could fail to love the whole
two CDs - even in reviews people write that they couldn't
sit all the way through it - i vehemently disagree - the
album is almost a breathtaking retrospective...and there are
those rumours that he is never releasing music again... :|

Didn't he use one of them Midi triggered pianos (=
prepared?), hence sounds so authentic

Drukqs is good but I thought that Rich would come out with
some newer, wicked sounds. It's like I've allready heard
the songs. Of course it's a nice produced album but ...
afx can do better I think

you have no idea Transformer, this album is so fucking
great, i can't understand that some guys tell me it would
give better aphex releases. no other aphex release had so
much inspiration and different tracks. i love it
unbelievable much.
