free net release from earstroke.com!

www.earstroke.com

Wordsalads second album is a self titled LP that blows
minds. this is some of the best work i've heard in a while.
experimentation and originality in its prime. its a lot more
mature sounding than his Black Vegetables album in that its
laid back and explores new avenues of sound design using
analogue equipment. definetly worth every penny you aren't
spending.

1. Polar Clam
2. Life Force
3. Nazca Cavern
4. Copious 2
5. Xinow Earwigging
6. Ridley Commons
7. Copious 5

hope you all enjoy this as much as i do.

cheerios,

How do you decide on artists to sign up / use ?

marlowe, i'll either hunt for artists myself (usually the
case) or i'll receive submissions from people via post or
email. check the info section of earstroke.com. - and thanks
for the review!

v.pusha: the album before this was wordsalads older brother,
BRTLMN, and that can be found on earstrokes front page as
they are organized in descending order. or here:
http://www.earstroke.com/ear004.html

so glad you guys are digging it. this was a release that i
was most curious to hear peoples thoughts on, as i truly
love it, but it is rather different.

i like some of the pitchy-crunchy synth sounds and a couple
of the tracks were pretty cool... sounds kind of
under-developed to me, though. kind of bland, but not bad.

Nah, I think you should check it again. I don't think it is
underdeveloped - maybe electronic listeners are getting too
used to lush production these days or something, but I find
it refreshing - a cut above other lo-fi recordings I've
heard.

not to bust on anyones opinions, but yes, i agree. although
this feels lush to me, its thick, warm and filled out true
analogue!

but you don't have to take my word for it. reading rainbow

I ended up finding the thread. It was your ambient one
although the one you linked i did listen to.

I have not yet had the time or chance to listen to this yet.

the ether slide around their naked flesh?

once more, this is an experience, and amazing journey. its
one of my favorite things released all year. just needs a
little bit more attention i think.

methinks a bump is in order! cheers all.
