I have a feeling this has been discussed on this forum before, but in editing programs (such as AcidPro 4) is there a way to stop the clicking/popping sound that accompanies edited .wav's no matter how much you volume-fade the edges? It wouldn't be that big of a deal, but the damn snapping noise follows over into rendered files. Please help me out my fellow knob twiddlers.

In cubase I know there is an option to 'snap to zero-crossing' which will fix it. You might need to re-edit the wavs in an editor and make sure it starts on zero if there isn't an option like that.
