How could anyone even think that this movie is confusing?
There's nothing confusing about it, at all. The plot wraps
itself up perfectly. One needs not to think after watching
it. It's pure entertainment and nothing more.

The only confusing movies I've ever seen are Donnie Darko
and Naked Lunch. They are awesome.

it owes a lot to film noir, especially the whole idea of
starting with the end and explaining how the "hero"
(antihero) got there.
