It was a new experience for me, since it was actually mixed in acid. I've been wanting to experiment with digital mixing for a while, and using acid was quite interesting (even though it does take the dynamic factor away somewhat). But you can be very precise. I'm gonna play around with Traktor soonish. |

Beatmatching and pitch correction where appropriate. The bpm was fixed at 132 for the entire mix, though its easy to setup markers for when you want to speed up/slow down. It definately has its limitations (the lack of a real EQ springs to mind), but with the right track selection and a little patience, you can get pretty decent results. Its more like sequencing than actual mixing. |
