it feels a bit like "cheating" to me now when i see this...
"the end"... the only true ending i can see would be death,
no? living happily for ever after, finding the holy graal or
whatever the hero/heroin was seeking for, THE END?
whatever.

but ok, it's the end of what the author imagined/wanted to
tell... and sometimes it's better to end like this.
sometimes not.

i'm starting to like more and more "open"/"incomplete"
endings, that state clearly it's not the end of everything
and doesn't pretend everything will stay like it is. (i
still don't like multiple endings in video games though)
