The cinematography is amazing, and as usual Stan is a master
at creating tension. The story however is a bit slow for me
to follow.

But, Kubrick is stupendous and I love him. He sucks for
dying.

Amazing cinematography yeah, some shots are like paintings.
The candle light is also amazing in certain scenes.

I really want to see this film, can't wait to get the
Kubrick box set, almost every film he's made is a
masterpiece. Ones I haven't seen so far are The Shinning,
Lolita, Barry Lyndon and Paths of Glory.

I really want to watch Eyes Wide Shut again too, think I
watched that when I was too young, didn't really get it
then.

Most of his films aren't wide screen though which is what
the direcrtor wanted but they don't fill widescreen tv's
which is a bit annoying.

Every one I have seen is spectacular, and I haven't seen
this one yet. I think I will rent it tomorrow, cause I am a
huge fan, and this just reminded me that I need to see this
movie.

Has anybody seen the murder? I want to see that one too.

What an epic amazing film that is.. i may just have to watch
it again real soon.

If you like it you'll love Ridley Scotts first film "the
duellists" with harvey keitell... equally sumptuous and full
of cadology and general 18th/19th century mischief!
