well they quited in a good moment I think... the last 2
albums had been a bit weaker (understandable on the other
hand, as the first 4 lps where excellent... all od them in
music history for ever)

the blue album is not great but its nice listening to it

There's some pretty rare orbital stuff for sale
here, radiccio ep and all that. Worth it if you're
collecting the lot.

the diversions is top notch too...underworld mix is
brilliant.

probably my favourite orbital release is the satan ep. also
called "III ep"

1. satan
2. lc1
3. belfast

i wish they come back in about 10, 15 years to tour european
concert halls with the IN SIDES material...

and let me go pathetic> "adnan's" is one of those tracks
that speak without lyrics. especially the melody that comes
in 4'05''

out, a beautiful time if i remember rightly.

I'd forgotten how good the satan live eps are... listening
to the live "out there somewhere" now, and my
goodness it's nice. That high-pitched b-movie synth
at the start of the track sounds even filthier than usual.

i have the vinyl of satan live. apart from not having 3
versions of satan live (are they different?) isn't there
something else missing? i can't rememeber

Umm, lemme think. As far as i know, the double 12" release
has 4 tracks plus a live version of "choice" that wasn't on
the cd releases and isn't listed on the sleeve. The CDs have
8 tracks altogether but with crowd noise that wasn't on the
vinyl. So i think you'll be missing 4 tracks that were on
the CDs.

It's quite annoying in places, some redneck cunt shouting
"bring on the fuckin' BON JOVI, YEAHHHH!!" doesn't add to my
listening experience all that much.

i prefer my strangers live in 1990 bootleg where you can
hear someone saying "'ere! got any rislas?"

their first proper live album "Live X-Cert" has a great
moment in it. Just before they start playing 'Dead Ringer'
someone shouts "WANKER" really loudly, so hugh cornwall
stops the band playing after about 2 bars, and asks the
crowd "Someone say wanker?". there follows a period of
silence with the crowd getting impatient because theyve
stopped, then follwed by "Well isn't anyone going to own
up?"

Hahah, excellent. One of my mates has got an old orb bootleg
from around the U.F.Orb period, there's a quiet bit where
they're playing some bell samples and a clock chiming, and
someone in the background pipes up with:

"Woahhh, shit... time."

i have a beefheart bootleg (naturally on tape) where people
keep shouting out requests to which he replies "you think
we're a jukebox, we're gonna play exactly what we want to
play"

chime crime
oolaa (joey beltram mutation)
farenheit 3d3
speed freak (moby mutation)

all tracks from first album, but 2 of them remixed by
orbital themselves and then the mixes by beltram and moby

excellent really

I had this radiohead live track where they performed on a
belgian festival. and you could hear someone yell really
loud "HOEREEEE" a couple of times. wich means "whore" in
english. it was really funny.
