trying reverse formula in title and "stricter" first post... this will be the third track in the project... What is this? Well.. I had this idea.. get several music-makers together and make a track. Each will make their part (one to bass, one to melody, and so-on) without listening to the others' part. A BPM and maybe a theme or scale is decided beforehand, and when everyone is finished, it is mixed by one of the participants or preferrably a person that only does mix. The general idea for the tracks is that they're supposed to be as spontaneous as possible, which means it would be preferrable for them to be done within an hour or two (including the process of getting artists), so don't sign up unless you haven't got time. today: 200 bpm mix: - drums: - melody: - bass: - sounds: - (optional) accompagniement: - |

no.. the G, A, H(B) and D are b's... that's one half note down, ie: the black key to the left of the key that is written on a piano. it's the same as #, but down instead of up from the note. |

hahah! no worries.. I may have been wrong about my calculations... I thought the interval for phrygian was (in halves) 1 1 1 2 2 2 1 or something, but I'll check again... mix: - drums: dariusgriffin melody: - bass: Oyvinto sounds: dannn_ (optional) accompagniement: - dan: sounds is just.. athmospherical sounds and trinkets. you can choose.. if you want lots of variation from your part, 16 beats, if not, you can make a loop of sorts. |
