I wonder, it's been a few years since Kid A (well a year and a half I guess), and I was wondering if anyone knows anything about a new album... like are they recording or anything? I remember reading they were thinking they would put out more albums like David Bowie I think they said... I really can't wait for their new album...

I have no clue what they'll do next... the mark of a great band. It'll be good, whatever it is.

I remember being so damn excited for Kid A, and now that I'm more into electronica, and I'm sure they'll be getting more into electronica... my God, the excitement I'm feeling... :)

I wish they'd go back to the OK Computer ''drama rock'' style. The electronic stuff is good, but I like them best when they're just being straight-forward, like Knives Out.

imo, they're best bit of their whole career is the start of the song Kid A... I think it's amazing! with the cool drums and the vocoder, it sounds really creepy but vunerable

especially "everything in its right place" on the live cd toms voice has all these different delays and pitch shifts on it.. giving it an amazing effect

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to buy that Iron Lung EP that was in the store the other day... it's an import, and it's actually here in Music World... how can I not... anyone hear
their Airbag: How Am I Driving EP? I have it, and it's good... I remember when I first listened to it, how I though
Meeting in the Aisle was pretty electronic and stuff, and wondered where they were going... and then, we have Kid A...
pretty cool when I look back...

i just read an interview with them in the new issue of the face a couple of days ago...
at the time of the interview, the were finishing their world tour...and thom was starting to share some new song ideas with the rest of the band...they said that they'd like to have an album out by early next year...they dont want to have a big gap between releases again...they seem pretty relaxed and happy, and are enthusiastic about getting back to making new music...

That DVD is actually kind slow...Kinda like the AIR one.....
Followmearound.com seems to be the best site for all their shit....easier to navigate that radiohead.com
They are pretty quick on news updates and they have EVERYTHING you could think of...

xlr, sorry didn't see you question. i fucking love that movie.. thing is, you kind of have to be a dye-hard radiohead fan to REALLY enjoy it. there is a great deal of subtle humour and/or distubering issues that go on..... you have to play close attention to the band's body language. the movie was more to show the strains of touring as much as they did, then to actaully show who they are... i have to say, i did get more of an understanding of them as humans form that movie.
amen.

I've never saw it, but I've tried downloading it off the net. Downloading whole movies is so frustrating. Half the time it has either no sound, or no picture.

I LOVE OK Computer.
Kid A is their next best in my opinion, although Idioteque is very much over-rated. I prefer pretty much any of thr other tracks, with the exception of Treefingers (badly-done ambient). And also, Optimistic is just incongruous (apart from the segue to In Limbo).
