dog_belch: maybe you could try listening to analogue
bubblebaths 1-4 in a row and see if you spot the 'same
style'.

it, much like analord, is a SERIES.
tough luck if you cant take his proof of being the analogue
overlord.

I don't mean to be pedantic but ABs 1 through to 4 aren't
really at all like each other, nor is either ep/lp made up
entirley of similar sounding tracks. But I'd grant you
(little rephlex joke) that Caustic Window material is all
very much in a similar "style", and that was, I think, a
series too.

these samples are really nice, the anal mastery really
evolves

And those Rushour samples are a lot better, thanks.

Crying in your face and Homemade polysynth are some of the
best tracks I've heard, I can tell from just the samples :)

"I find it unusual
he is releasing so much material with a very similar sound.
"

ofcourse it will sound similiar. the whole concept of these
eps is acid. if you don't like it, don't bother following
the rest of the series.

Actually I do not think it is true :) Analord10 is soooo
different from 1,2,3,4... I hope and I guess it will be
chnging through whole series. Hopefully more piano, less
music-box for vampire-kids acid, although I really like
klopjob and crying. I think next Analords will be very
different to first four parts.

Having invested 50 quid so far I think I'm in for the
duration. Anyway, the second set of samples are a lot
better, I was going by those dubious first ones, so... I
know you are already but, ignore me. I will await
moaning/praising until I hear the actual records playing.
Because, as we've seen elsewhere, groundless conjecture gets
sucky really quick.

these samples sound tasty, especially since a and 2 were
such a let-down for me

You know, quite a lot of music > Analord. It's a shame. It's
a shame by Talk Talk > Analord, for that matter.

Still, it's all a bit of fun.

Or "Such a shame", that really should have been. Well the
entire post actually could have been done without I guess.

Has anyone got any work for me to do?

well, I was listening to these again and again - and now I
know. I am dissapointed. Simply - it is not evolving, it is
not going somewhere further. It stopped and saying: "I am
great, right?". I guess I will skip these parts and wait for
some real ace (musically closer to A10)

OMD, as in Orchestral Manoevers in the Dark? Great band, and
much better than Analord 1, 2, 3, 4, 10
