cacko

although the later release has some fucking annoying bugs
which are shitting me.

i'd use pdaxrom if there were some decent pda apps for it,
and don't give me the kde-derived bullshit apps that are
horrible to use and take 90 years to startup. openembedded
with gpe would be rather neat if the development team
actually got off their arse, too.

dont worry i understand you point, i have no use for pda
apps though ....
seriously i do understand the benefits of cacko....
the last few RCs of pdaxrom have been coming out very
quickly with lots of improvements.

it has a Pentium M Centrino chip running at 1.6 ghz.
i would say it is almost 3x faster than my old AMD Athelon
that ran at 750mhz.

the clock speed (1.6 ghz) is a little misleading, the new
Centrino chips like mine have a 533 FSB making them damn
efficient. and the low clock speed means i can run it on
battery power almost 3 hours. ( i have been watching DVDs on
battery with 45min minutes of battery life to spare easily)

it runs about equal to a Pentimum 2.3ghz chip is what i've
heard. but yeah, like i said before, running ableton Live,
my tracks that used to push the CPU up to 70% usage are now
running at 15% or so and I can easily shift effects and such
on the fly with no gapping or slowdown.

other specs with the Toshiba M45-s331:
15.4 inch tru-brite wide screen
80g hard drive
512m DDRAM
DVD burner CD multidrive thingy
wireless
$1450 before rebates etc.
!gah! heres a link!
