"why am i responding to this seemingly uninviting
music?" good question. the rest is like cutting ocean waves
. where's City Pigeon ? i need some rhyme here

"is autechre somehow finding
new territory of sound that we have not yet fully
understood?" - are You the founder of Autechre Church ? This
is already too much for me

man, i think SOME of you children should lay off insulting
cx for trying to share his writing with the xltronic
community!

so what if he's deciding to analyze autechre's music? so
what if you don't agree? you don't have to go all out there
and pigeon-hole him into being some freak fanatic who ISN'T
allowed to express his opinions. for some of you less
informed of the paradoxes of nihilism, philosophy is a rant
and a rant is a philosophy! and both never mean anything
when you think about it too much - it's only what one grasps
for a mere moment that seems to really matter to our
seratonin and dopamine!

this kind of 'pitchfork-chasing after the poor guy who
wanted to just say something that he believes is
meaningful'-attitude is such a typical kind of web-trolling
- and by that, my response to the trolling issue has been
well-planned by the trollers themselves ;)

regardless, let him have his 5 minutes of fame by sharing
his thoughts and just humour him for 1 minute if you can -
just try and accept the fact that no person is a robot and
can pump out formulaic essays justified by scientific
formulas in a drunken spur of about an hour (not that im
saying he was drunk when he wrote it). ie. stop being
assholes cuz you just end up looking like an ass.

You should come to this mb more often. Now, relax. I'm sure
nobody's been going to offend cx.

one more quote, if i may :

"...we don't know anything about music, we still don't
understand what music is really." [autechre]

confield it sort of hit me "dude, this is some strange
fucking music.." " - there You go. now i can't be sure
whether Your *philosophical* interpretation of autechre
music isn't just a stoned mumbling, really

NON SEQUITUR (part 2) also:
Googlism for: phenomenology

phenomenology is rooted in the idea that everyday experience
is worthy of examination
phenomenology is the act of trying to experience the total
reality of the consciousness of someone who experiences his
or her world in a certain place and time
phenomenology is that it makes possible a universal
ontology
phenomenology is one of hegel's most important books and
provides an essential basis for properly understanding his
later works

well he did ask for everyones opinion, so im sure he was
expecting some negative feed back - and if what he says is
true, hes 23, he can take it - hes a big boy - maybe he
should rewrite it and make it a stronger piece.
