My neighbours downstairs started a nachspiel/afterparty at 5 last night, and when I left the house at 11.30 this morning they were still going on. How long do YOU normally last at a party? |

Shit, i guess it depends as to how much supplies they have. What kind of people are there. Because if you run out of drinks then it ends usually within 1 and 1/2 hours. The people matter because it depends if they do this alot and are in the zone to go the distance. I would say 36 hours at the longest. We've had some "last man standing" parties that went like that |

Whooa. 36 hrs? That is a long time. Last summer I visited a festival in Oslo, where we more or less drank for three days. We got some sleep in between though. But the last day (saturday) we woke up at 11 in the morning and drank hard to 8 the next morning. The following days I discovered a new dimension of tiredness. |

i know freaks more or less partying 4-5 days. of koz chemicals were involved :( i wanna puke when i imagine their shitfaces. |

Those 36+ hour ones are usually followed up by 2-3 day hangovers, mild dehydration and crankyness! :D We usually dont do those all the time but i am always down with a good ol LMS (last man standing). A party of XLTers could be good. I am assuming we have some power drinkers here. I had a good time drinking with Aphexisatwin. Now i just have to meet the Chicago and Detroit regulars for drinks! |

A few remarks on the subject : 1.it depends whether You mean non-stop or with breaks, then You can survive more than 3 days :) 2.Some time ago Jaroen linked to his page with pics of a few days' party - one of the pics showed a bottled floor 3.It also depends on the quality not just quantity of course - last NYEve party i went to sleep at about 1am after trying a mate's drink 4.AND AN XLTRONIC PARTY WOULD BE SOMETHING GREAT 5.cheers ! |

Untill I drop pretty much. Usualy the last one standing. 12hours is the usual for me but can last longer with the right equipment ;o) |

The folks I rent my apartment from was outta town once, and the son threw a party. I think they started about 18.00 on the saturday and stopped about 16.00 the day after. To make matters worse, they played awful mindless hardhouse at max volume all the time. Luckily I was at a different party the whole saturday evening and came home drunk as your regular sailor on leave, and had therefore no problems sleeping. The funny thing is that he got busted for posession and had to do jail for this. Serves him right, the fucker. |

I can't really throw a proper do at my house because of the mental psychonutbag neighbours, but i've been to a couple of parties at people's flats that've lasted 3 or 4 days. Waking up still fucked is the key to success, everyone just keeps going until they feel like the living dead. Hurray! |

well, there's this festival i go to each year, and that's basically non-stop smoking weed & drinking beer/wine from friday noon to sunday evening. after that i'm pretty dead usually. |

i haven't had/been to a party in a long long time. back when i was young it usually always ended by the morning (8 am or so). im old now. |
