Has anyone heard any new electronic music that's got them
excited about the genre? I've been low on inspiration in
the good ol' field of IDM, experimental, glitch, or whatever
you desire to call it.

I heard that new Ricardo Villalobos and thought it was
downright awesome.

Other then that the last album to really catch me,
electronic music wise, was Fennesz's "Venice." I need some
suggestions, I have too many nostalgic memories of hearing
an awesome electronic record for the first time to let the
genre totally die away from my interests....

Yo?

like who?

if you mean the newest wave of indie mixed with electronics,
i haven't heard anything that i've jumped at. i heard arab
strap, the microphones, the arcade fire, rogue wave (or
whatever), the books, kings of convienance, etc, etc, etc...
it's all the same uninspired thing to me.

animal collective is alright.
