i'm into Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness by
the Smashing Pumpkins a lot, since christmas; new "favourite
album ever" if i have one. Feedbacker by Boris also,
excellent. and Odelay by Beck. and A Love
Supreme
by John Coltrane. and First Meeting by
+minus. the most recent? hmm... today i got Tostaky
by Noir Désir and We Move Through Weather by
Tarentel but i haven't listened enough to tell so far : )

Low - The Great Destroyer comes highly, highly recommended.
I bought the new roots manuva album the other day as well,
but frankly it's a bit bland and shitty.

I've started naming variables 'qrter' in my software so that
I can have shitloads of 'qrter=' expressions. TRUE

Bauhaus- ''Rest in Peace- The Last Concert''

Peter Murphy is a lusty demon, I can't get enough of that
fucker's vocals. Ever. And Boxhead Ensemble- ''Dutch Harbor,
Where the Sea Breaks its Back''. Super atmosphere, very
visual stuff. I live on a coast, I love anything involving
them.

whoa flapkeizer! that must have been an old one. To my
credit I only did that once (maybe thrice?) and it was over
two months ago. Time for me to shut up. wait fuck I think
I may have been involved in the one in the screenshot..

I suck at swimming, and never go since my skin is fucked on
my back =( catch-22, some good exercise and exposure would
fix it, no doubt.

Some bad experiences early on led to me develop great
disdain for the water. I'm over my aquaphobia now, but it's
too late and I have no interest in swimming now, anyway.
Water is a majorly cool thing, though. I just don't like
splashing around in it.

some albums i've been listeneing to a lot:

neutral milk hotel - in the aeroplane over the sea
joy division - unknown pleasures
air - premiers symtpomes
the superimposers - the superimposers
markus wormstorm - III (south african electro artist)
tortoise - millions now living will never die

i recommend all of these.

perhaps more than anything else over the past few weeks,
i've been enjoying Brent Gutzeit... lately, whenever i nap
during the day i have on one of a few releases by him:

Postcard for Kyoto
Heaven Underground
For Leif
Harbor

i think my all time favourite it probably Jaybird, but it's
a lot more straight up groovey than something like Magnetic
Drugs... i'm sure most are worth checking out one way or
another, although i would never claim that any release is
truly quality across the board... these jambands are
frustrating that way...

but in any event, i would also (in addition to Jaybird)
recommend:
Closer to the Bone
Trickle Down Theory of Lord Knows What

and other similar bands:
No Neck Blues Band
Vibracathedral Orchestra
Wooden Wand and the Vanishing Voice
Double Leopards
Tower Recordings

I know it's cold and only february but im getting into
summer track production mode! Probably caused by listening
to...

Jazzanova - The Remixes 1997 - 2000

There are some classic tracks on here, if you don't have
anything off Compost records...sort it out.
