No. Looks really like he has no idea or plan about what he's
doing. Just moving things at random. You can do that with
current gear and I bet you won't look as clueless :)

yeah, but it seems like a good experimental project on that
particular field.

sorry, looks more gimmicky than actually useful..

an MIT guy.. shit what's his name.. made something for kids
where you doodle and it files out melodies (fitting some
harmony) inside the doodles.. damn I was talking to another
professor there and we brought him up, I wish I could
remember.. ehhhhh

but yeah there's lots of stuff like this.

you could argue Max/MSP is a right step in this direction;
if someone gave it a seriously wicked non-screen-bound
interface. or something.

that's actually pretty clever. it has a lot of potential, i
think.

the concept is great but it needs more development

the visuals are pretty, but I think the concept is flawed.

why?

humans have extremely fine control of their hands. just
picking up and dropping shit is a poor use of that capacity.

maybe it would make mixing easier when you're completely
pissed then

Max accepts any kind of midi input so theoretically you
could have a midi buttplug triggered by clenching your ass
and wired to a computer making Harvey Keitel manlynoise.
