Well, explain why it isn't.
It sounds pretty damn complex to me. I wish I had the time and the programs to do those insane sounds and beats.

trying to make the most of what time we've got????
What does that mean, is he implying an end to autechre, maybe he is. maybe they have given themselves some date to end this thing. that or, both of them are dying of some incurable disease. but i wont read into to it because all i care about is the music.

and i would also say, that the music that ae makes..its all about tastes. your musical taste - i'm a laiman when it comes to the equipment / software used to make their music, but i have listened to their stuff - a lot - and for me it all ends up being great music, even their first two lp's which i harp on alot, are good, maybe i dont care for them, but that is my taste. i can recognize that something is good, even though i may not like it - basscadet is an outstanding track, but could i listen to it more than once, no way - nil is another, is downright perfect - but not for me.

flawless - meaning amber and incunabula are exactly as they appear - sonic landscapes and lush....but i am trying to show that a piece of music can be beautiful and be disliked. look at luke vibert, some of his wagon christ stuff is perfect, its all great music, but there are some people who just plain dont like it, its all about tastes.

Honestly, I feel the early autechre stuff to be boring. Amber has one good song, and incunabla is awful. Tri Repete is OK, but it doesn't really have anything interesting about it.

Everything after chiastic slide and cichli suite are great.
And I do use great care with the word interesting. I need music that keeps me interested, and autechre definately do that.
