Now, lets discuss The Other People Place - Sunday Night
Live At The Laptop Cafe [C#27]
. No details can be found

are ok.

I know people aren't generally that mad about The Other
People place but I think the album Lifestyles Of The Laptop
Cafe is absolutely fantastic, very subtle, deft touches,
expertly crafted, lovely, it's one of my all time faves. But
I only just discovered this single, The Other People Place
featuring Mystic Tribe, released 2002 (?), with two tracks
Sorrow & A Cup Of Joe and Telepathic Seduction
and it is..... I can't stop playing it. I got it off of
Bleep, i think it's out of stock on Boomkat. It's the most
perfect thing I ever heard, and now I just read that James
Stinson died in 2002. ...does no one tell me anything?

Lifestyles of the Laptop cafe was shit, imo.

I dont know where you get 'subtle' from, it was however,
minimal. Stock 808/909 sounds, annoying voice samples,
boring ass loops. I hated it.

Now now, Weathered, you need to listen to it, and feeeeel
it, feeeeeeeeeeeeeel it.

They are called The Other People Place for a reason
you know, meaning not you. Sure, it's stock 808/909, but
they've put the drum-machines to good use. I get that lazy
summernight feeling whenever I listen to it, and I support
every adjective dog_belch use to describe them.

Didn't know about that 12", so I'm off to steal in on the
internet (or Bleep it), cause I'm dying for more of those
sounds.

Have a root round for it or have a bleep sir, it's only
$2.50 I think, with your impeccable taste it's highly
unlikely you'll be disappointed.

I did Bleep it, and it's lovely. Thank you for mentioning
this, dog.

every time i would go to this record shop and not find
anything good i'd listen to this album (because i usually
can't exit record store without purchasing something), but i
always picked another (usually shit) album in the end..then
some day there really wasn't anything else left so i bought
this one. i have no idea where it is, but i'll look it up
one day :D

These two tracks are beautiful. These tracks seem to force
you to relax. I'm glad they're finally on Bleep.

Yeah they're both awesome, on Lifestyles I especially liked
Let Me Be Me...platenworm has it for 12 bucks.

Have you ordered anything from them before? Are they, I
don't know, reliable?

No I've never ordered from them... so please don't hate me
if they take your money 8( but they have it at
formic for 15 bucks, they are reliable and usually
have stuff thats out of stock at clone. Shipping to Chile
would probably bust your wallet though.

Thanks for your top advice, I popped an email enquiry to
platenworm to confirm if they had it in stock though I'll
give formic a go if they let me down, NICE ONE.
